It is completely safe and equipped with a Click-lock to prevent accidental opening as well as a quick-release lock. Available in a 19”/ 48 cm size that’s easily adjusted by adding or removing links (sold separately).

It’s great. Looks good too and won’t come apart like a traditional prong. Small design flaw in the buckle slide-cover-could be lost when taking off, if not careful. Otherwise a great evolution.
